Korean AI lab Upstage has released Solar Pro 4, its new proprietary flagship reasoning model. It scores 42 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, a massive leap from Solar Pro 3’s 14.

- Agentic Performance Surge: Terminal-Bench v2.1 jumps from 12% to 57%, showing strong progress in real-world agentic tasks.
- Lower Hallucinations: By abstaining from uncertain questions, the hallucination rate dropped drastically from the previous generation's 88% to 24%.
- Pricing & Specs: Features a 512K context window and 128K max output tokens. Pricing is set at $0.30/$1.20 per 1M input/output tokens, an increase from its predecessor.
