Upstage Launches Solar Pro 4 with Major Leaps in Agentic Performance

Korean AI lab Upstage has released Solar Pro 4, its new proprietary flagship reasoning model. It scores 42 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, a massive increase from Solar Pro 3’s score of 14.
The model shows its strongest improvement in real-world agentic work, achieving an Elo of 1276 on the GDPval-AA v2 benchmark. This places it above the human Elo baseline of 1000 and slightly ahead of Qwen3.7 Max (1272) and MiMo-V2.5-Pro (1266).
