Indie Dev Builds 'Honest' CS Conference Ranking by Destination Quality

An indie developer launched honestcsrankings.org, a tool that ranks 540 upcoming CORE-ranked computer science conferences by the attractiveness of their destination rather than academic prestige.
The rankings factor in real climate data for the conference month, safety (Global Peace Index), cost (World Bank price levels), and city accessibility/vibe. It also features an 'Upsets' tab highlighting A venues in terrible locations.
Users can filter by field, rank, or deadlines, and sort by flight distance from their home city. Deadlines can be exported to .ics files for easy sharing with coauthors.
