Testing Grok Build: Boosts Video Volume by 20dB with Compression in 25 Seconds
XFreeze · x · 2026-08-12
The author shares a hands-on test of using Grok Build for video audio processing. By simply asking in natural language to boost a SpaceX video's volume by 10dB, Grok automatically handled audio analysis, gain boost, soft compression, and limiting, outputting a finished video.
After noticing remaining headroom in the audio levels, the author requested another 10dB increase. Grok successfully pushed the total gain to +20dB and re-encoded the file. The entire workflow, which would typically require manual editing software setup and take 10 to 20 minutes, was completed by Grok in just 25 seconds.
