Robert Wachen dropped out of Harvard at 21 with just $10,000 in his bank account. Three years later, the AI chip startup he co-founded, Etched, has raised over $1 billion, achieved a valuation exceeding $10 billion, and signed over $1 billion in customer contracts.

Now 24, Wachen explained his success in a recent talk: "We were absolutely not the best people in the world to solve this. We were the only people willing to."
