During an internal SpaceX update, Elon Musk outlined his massive AI infrastructure goals, aiming for 10 gigawatts (GW) of compute by the end of next year. He believes this will lay the groundwork for space-based AI, predicting that while AI training will remain on Earth, inference will eventually extend into space.

Regarding model iterations, Musk announced that Grok 4.6 is about a week away from release, with version 4.7 expected to be particularly special. He also encouraged SpaceX employees to actively use AI in their daily workflows to help improve the models.
