OpenAI Codex Hits 10M Active Users, Teases Surprise for Tomorrow

OpenAI Codex core developer Thomas Sottiaux tweeted that Codex's active users have surged from 1 million to 10 million in less than six months, hitting the milestone on July 21.
He also teased a "little surprise" coming tomorrow to celebrate passing the 10M mark. Analysts suggest that including ChatGPT work usage, active users may have already crossed 15 million.
