Cursor's Code Review Platform 'Origin' Set to Launch with Automated PR Pipeline
testingcatalog · x · 2026-08-12
AI coding tool Cursor is preparing to launch Origin, a new code review platform expected to roll out as early as this week.
Currently in closed beta under the internal name "Cursor Review," the platform introduces two main tabs:
- Codebase: For syncing and managing repositories pulled from GitHub.
- Review: An automated pull request pipeline that notifies developers when human judgment is needed, enabling collaboration between humans and agents on open PRs.
Built by the Graphite team acquired by Cursor, Origin targets the bottleneck of human-paced reviews in high-frequency agentic workflows.
