Google Announces Three New Subsea Cables Connecting the Americas

Google officially announced a major expansion of its global network infrastructure in the Americas with three new subsea cable systems: Alisios, Canoa, and OlaLuz. These cables will connect the Dominican Republic, Panama, Chile, Bermuda, and Florida.

This initiative aims to further strengthen network capacity and reliability between Latin America, the Caribbean, the U.S., and Europe, supporting the underlying needs of the global digital economy and scientific research.
