According to supply chain sources, Xiaomi and Unitree Robotics have essentially locked down global-shutter sensor capacity for the next six months. This directly impacts the scaling and mass production of American humanoid robotics hardware.

Meanwhile, partner factories in China have already built a production-ready ego capture platform using these scarce sensors, featuring 2-5 global shutter cameras and 200Hz IMUs, ready for robot learning dataset collection.
