Anthropic Announces Watermarks for AI-Generated Text and Files

Anthropic stated that all models released after August 2 will automatically feature watermarking technology for computer-generated text and files, utilizing the C2PA open standard for files.
The company also noted it will extend support to older models and that the watermark will persist when users copy and paste the text.
