Bizarre ChatGPT Bug: Sends Unsolicited Notification and Prompts Itself

A Reddit user reported a highly unusual ChatGPT bug. The free iOS app sent an unrequested push notification with the prompt: "Tell me about the role that my city played in the history of India’s independence movement."
Tapping the notification automatically opened a new chat and sent the prompt. The user, located in a small Norwegian city, had never discussed India with ChatGPT. With India's Independence Day approaching (August 15), this appears to be a severe logic failure or backend bug, possibly from OpenAI testing proactive notification features.
