SD Video Optimization: CK Cuts Generation Time to 473s, but Degrades Prompt Adherence
switch2stock · reddit · 2026-08-12
A developer shared an update on their Stable Diffusion video generation optimizations. By integrating CK optimizations, the generation time dropped significantly from 755 seconds to 473 seconds.
However, this speedup came with a trade-off: a degradation in prompt adherence. For instance, a complex prompt requiring "three thugs" in a stylized 3D animated scene only generated two characters after applying the optimization. This indicates that pushing for inference efficiency might compromise the model's ability to parse complex instructions accurately.
