Hermes Agent: Open-Source Framework for Automated AI Agent Skill Management
KhuyenTran16 · x · 2026-08-11
Developer Khuyen Tran introduces Hermes, an open-source AI agent framework by Nous Research. The framework tackles the issue of manually maintained skill libraries becoming noisy and stale.
It features two core workflows:
- Crystallization: Automatically creates a reusable skill after completing a complex task.
- Curator: Tracks skill usage, archives stale skills, and suggests consolidations.
The author also tests Hermes on a real debugging task to demonstrate its skill workflow in practice.
