Developer Uses Grok to Automatically Iterate and Reproduce Tencent's 3D World Generation Project
jasonkneen · x · 2026-08-11
Developer Jason Kneen demonstrated an AI coding workflow: he fed the paper and website of Tencent Hunyuan's newly released Hy3D WorldClaw project into Grok, which successfully generated the initial codebase.
He then set up automated local iteration for the code, with Grok making continuous progress and improving the output on every run. The original Tencent Hunyuan project aims to generate large-scale, freely explorable 3D open worlds from text prompts, built entirely from editable, game-ready 3D assets with high-quality geometry and textures.
