Seedance 2.5 Test: Natural Mannerisms but Cost and Lip-Sync Remain Pain Points
Ror_Fly · x · 2026-08-11
The creator evaluated the AI comedy generation workflow using Claude and Seedance 2.5 (SD2.5):
- Claude's Performance: Good at finding polarizing angles and middle ground from social media, and tying concepts together. However, it needs improvement in spoken word pacing and actually being "funny."
- SD2.5's Performance: Shows more natural human mannerisms than SD2.0 and maintains consistency with image/audio references. However, it messed up props like the man's hat multiple times and exhibited odd lip-syncing.
- Cost & Experience: To manage expenses, the creator generated videos in 480p. Despite flaws, the 30-second generations are helpful for dialog and pacing, making the character's pauses and tone changes feel much less robotic.
