AI Reshapes Traditional Consulting: Shifting from Analysis to Automated Execution
curious_vii · x · 2026-08-11
The author points out that traditional consulting focuses heavily on analysis but takes few actions, with most hypotheses going untested or relying on applied assumptions. The cool thing about AI is that it allows delegating rote data collection, analysis, and even running actual experiments.
This makes the consulting exercise more abductive in nature. It enables fully integrated learning at a scale, scope, and speed that would have been prohibitively expensive or outright impossible prior to AI.
