OpenAI Acquires AI Presentation Startup NextSlide to Boost ChatGPT

OpenAI has acquired NextSlide, a startup specializing in AI-powered presentation generation. The NextSlide team will be joining the ChatGPT division to help enhance the product's visual communication capabilities.
NextSlide's product allows users to turn prompts, notes, documents, or research into polished, editable presentations. Founder Ahmed Beshry noted that joining OpenAI will help them scale their mission of making visual communication more accessible. The financial terms of the deal, which actually closed earlier this year, were not disclosed.
