Alibaba's Qwen Open Platform is officially live, offering seamless integration across mobile apps, PCs, and AI smart glasses. For the AI glasses segment, the platform introduces two core modules: a Skill Platform and Industry Customization to help developers tackle real-world scenarios.
For developers, Qwen has opened underlying hardware capabilities like photo capture and voice interaction. Developers can create Skills using natural language prompts to build practical tools, such as audio obstacle cues for the visually impaired, tour guides, or real-time cooking coaches. For enterprise clients, the platform supports deeper customization tailored to internal workflows, such as industrial and retail inspection assistants that identify equipment anomalies. Future updates will unlock even more hardware capabilities, including spatial 3D displays and health tracking.
