EverMind introduces HarnessBank: Solving agent self-evolution with dual-agent architecture

机器之心 · wechat · 2026-08-11

Without changing model weights, simply swapping the operational harness can cause significant performance fluctuations. EverMind proposes the HarnessBank framework, utilizing a dual-agent architecture (Task Agent + Evolver Agent) to solve evaluation and verification challenges in agent self-evolution.

The framework introduces a strict four-gate screening mechanism to effectively prevent traps like search collapse, task overfitting, and unverifiable gains. Experiments prove that different models require specifically tailored harness patches; forcibly applying patches across models can even lead to severe negative optimization.
