Dyna Robotics Launches Dyna-2: Pre-trained on 1M Hours of Human Video
JasonMa2020 · x · 2026-08-11
Robotics company Dyna Robotics announced the launch of the Dyna-2 model. The model is pre-trained entirely on 1 million hours of human video data.
The team claims to have discovered several new scaling laws at this scale for the first time:
- World-action models exhibit scaling laws on human data across four orders of magnitude (from 1,000 to 1,000,000 hours).
- This human data scaling law implies a scaling law on never-before-seen robot data.
- Both data and objective functions matter; world modeling on video data is key to cross-embodiment scaling transfer.
