China's embodied AI industry is witnessing a trend of 'investing to build.' Currently, 29 embodied robotics companies—many still in their Series A stage—have acted like VCs, making a total of 125 external investments.
AgiBot is the most aggressive, investing in 37 projects alone. This strategy aims to use capital to proactively lock in core upstream and downstream technologies, top talent, and key positions within the supply chain.
