Ex-PlanetScale Engineer Joins Cursor to Build Cloud Agents

Fatih Arslan, an expert in distributed systems and developer tooling, announced he is leaving PlanetScale after nearly 6 years to join AI coding startup Cursor.
At Cursor, he will focus on building Cloud Agents. He noted that while he is still managing state, the focus shifts from databases to agents. He believes agents are the future of software development and that the rapid evolution of the ecosystem drew him back to the online IDE space.
