Last November, @steipete was frustrated by the lack of good mobile tools for coding agents and built his own. The open-source project, OpenClaw, quickly exploded into one of the biggest AI projects globally, attracting nearly 3,000 contributors and peaking at 4.7 million weekly downloads.
