Vercel Simplifies Onboarding for Open-Source Security Tool deepsec
cramforce · x · 2026-08-11
Vercel has significantly streamlined the onboarding process for its open-source security review harness, deepsec. Previously, users had to manually execute multiple steps, including creating an isolated workspace, configuring model access, generating a codebase description, running pattern scans, and evaluating the results. Now, users only need to run a single npx deepsec init command to automate the entire setup and start the AI security review. The setup process is also checkpointed, allowing it to resume from the last completed step if interrupted.
