A newly published accountability-by-design framework for Agentic AI aims to provide systematic guidance for the governance of autonomous agents. The framework centers around six core accountability control domains:
- Organizational governance
- Human oversight, consent, and decision authority
- Identity, authority, and data governance
- Observability, explainability, and evidence
- Runtime safety and assurance
- Incident response and recovery
