BLUECOW009 · x · 2026-08-11
Meta announced the release of Muse Glimmer, a 30B-parameter open-weight model optimized for local, always-on agent workflows.
The model delivers strong performance on key agentic benchmarks compared to leading models in its size category. It is specifically designed to run entirely on consumer hardware, such as Macs or PCs with performant GPUs. Staying true to its tradition of sharing fundamental AI research, Meta has released the model weights under a permissive Apache 2.0 license.
