Muse Glimmer Stuck in Terminal Command Loops, Draining Context
KingGongzilla · reddit · 2026-08-11
A developer reported that Muse Glimmer K-Quant running with the Hermes framework has a strong tendency to get stuck in long series of terminal tool calls. This behavior frequently hits the consecutive tool call limit of 150 and rapidly consumes the available 131K context window.
In contrast, the user noted that handling similar prompts with DeepSeek v4 Flash typically takes only 5-10 calls to solve the task, and Qwen3.6 27B did not exhibit such issues. The author is seeking feedback from the community to see if others have experienced similar model behaviors.
