AntigmaLabs has introduced Ante, a self-contained terminal coding agent. Packaged as a 15MB Rust binary with zero runtime dependencies, it can manage local inference engines entirely in offline mode.
Positioned as an alternative to tools like Claude Code or Codex, Ante operates without model constraints or heavy dependencies. It also serves as a highly optimized core for developers building their own agent harnesses, featuring continuous evaluation on Terminal-Bench.
