AI creation debate: tool vs creator, who prevails?

A philosophical thought on AI and creation: confusing a creator with an interface (or avenue for creation) is to look down upon the creator who may employ that very mechanism. Believing that potential for 'true' creation is limited by a process misses the point entirely of expression.
