Open-Source Skill: AI Analyzes Sports Data and Generates 3D Route Reports
op7418 · x · 2026-08-10
Developer @op7418 open-sourced an AI skill module called guizang-sports-skill, designed for analyzing sports data such as cycling, running, and hiking.
Key Features: Users simply feed FIT/KML files exported from sports watches or apps into agents like Codex or Claude Code. The skill automatically parses the data, generates a summary with route insights and actionable advice, and opens a local 3D route report. It also supports exporting routes, data cards, and photos as shareable PNG images or MP4 videos.
Technical Implementation: To prevent hallucinations from raw data, the tool uses a "deterministic analyzer + AI explainer" architecture. The underlying analyzer parses trajectories and calculates metrics, while the AI selects noteworthy correlations and translates them into human-readable conclusions and suggestions.
