Jay Alammar (creator of The Illustrated Transformer) and Maarten Grootendorst have open-sourced the entire codebase for their O'Reilly book, Hands-On Large Language Models.

Featuring nearly 300 custom-made illustrations, the repository covers 12 chapters ranging from tokens, embeddings, and Transformer internals to prompt engineering, RAG, multimodality, and fine-tuning. It serves as a highly visual, free masterclass in LLMs.
