Developer Prefers OpenAI Codex Over Claude for More Direct Code Generation

A developer recently shared their hands-on experience comparing leading AI coding assistants. They noted that while Claude can sometimes be overly complex and do unnecessary work ("turning over rocks that show nothing"), OpenAI's Codex generates code that is much more to the point, making it a relief to use.
