Developer shadcn introduced Copper, a local productivity tool designed specifically for AI-assisted workflows, available for a one-time purchase of $39.
The tool aims to solve the problem of fragmented information when working across multiple AI applications like ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor. It combines the features of a to-do list, clipboard, and scratchpad. Users can simply hit Shift twice to capture useful links or queue future prompts, and later paste them into their target AI applications.
Copper is built with a local-first and privacy-centric approach: all notes are saved entirely offline on the user's Mac. It requires no account, collects no data, and does not rely on cloud syncing.
