Open-source Agent Skill transforms story text into hand-drawn vertical animations

Developer gnipbao open-sourced an Agent Skill project called story-to-handdrawn-video on GitHub (1.1k Stars). It converts Chinese story copy or ordered images into silent, 3:4 vertical hand-drawn animations, ideal for children's bedtime stories, poem explanations, and teaching materials.
Core Features & Workflow:
- Smart Storyboarding: Automatically splits input text into sentences and dynamic storyboards, or maintains original composition via ordered image uploads.
- Rich Styles: Includes 20 switchable hand-drawn visual families like colored pencil diary, children's crayon, ink wash, watercolor, and Zine collage.
- Motion Design: Automatically splits text and illustration areas, featuring a left-to-right progressive reveal (text → B&W sketch → color illustration) and page-turn transitions.
- Agent-Driven: The project contains a distributable Skill package. Once loaded into agents like Codex, users can drive the rendering via natural language without manual scripting. The underlying rendering is powered by Remotion.
