Fed Up with AI Bots, Karpathy Locks His X Account and Changes Bio

Prominent AI researcher Andrej Karpathy recently locked his X (formerly Twitter) account and changed his bio. Reports indicate this is largely due to his frustration with the increasing volume of AI bots and automated replies on the platform.
Following the lock, new users cannot follow him or see his posts; only his existing followers can continue to view his updates.
