NeurIPS 2026 Calls for Papers: Building Resource-Aware AI Agents

Today's AI agents can handle complex tasks like coding and reasoning, but they often consume prohibitive amounts of compute and API costs due to excessive calls, sub-agent spawning, and re-planning, hindering real-world deployment.
To address this, the Resource-Aware Agentic AI workshop at NeurIPS 2026 will bring together academia and industry to focus on agent efficiency. Key topics include:
- Resource-aware planning and reasoning
- Model compression for agents
- Resource-aware multi-agent orchestration and training
- On-device deployment and context/memory management
- Benchmarks and evaluation metrics
The event takes place Dec 12–13 in Atlanta, with paper submissions due by August 29 (AoE).
