Grok Build Desktop Launches: Open-Source Client to Access xAI Models

A third-party developer has released Grok Build Desktop, an open-source desktop client that works with Grok Build v1.0.0 over ACP. The tool aims to let users seamlessly access the latest xAI models, such as Grok 4.6, the moment they drop.
It is currently available for Windows and macOS. The developer noted that there is an installer bug on macOS currently being fixed, but the Windows version works perfectly. Since the builds are not code-signed yet, users might encounter system security warnings upon initial launch.
