Anthropomorphizing AI Is an Unavoidable Instinct When They Speak Our Language

Responding to recent mockery about anthropomorphizing AI, the author argues that it is almost impossible not to. Since intelligent agents communicate using human language, we naturally apply our human-directed heuristics when interacting with them.
