Warp has officially released Warp Agent CLI, a standalone terminal-native AI coding agent that works in any terminal environment.
Key features include:
- Terminal-native & Persistent: Features a built-in multiplexer. Sessions persist across directory changes and SSH connections without losing context. It can also control interactive tools like sqlite and python directly.
- Multi-agent Orchestration: Allows delegating tasks to cloud agents powered by Warp Agent, Claude Code, or Codex, with a unified monitoring interface.
- Intelligent Model Routing: Supports multi-model routing for pareto-efficient task allocation.
