Ludic: An Open-Source LLM RL Library Designed for Agentic Behavior
willccbb · x · 2026-08-08
Ludic is a newly open-sourced LLM Reinforcement Learning (RL) library. The author created it to address the current LLM-RL ecosystem's overemphasis on single-step reasoning at the expense of complex agentic behaviors.
After concluding a recent research project, the author completely rewrote the underlying architecture. The core design philosophy is to help researchers quickly prototype and iterate on new RL ideas. The codebase is specifically tailored for multi-step, complex agentic behaviors and is now publicly available on GitHub.
