A new publication named Pax Machina has been launched to seed rigorous debate about the institutions needed for powerful AI. Edited by a board of scholars, the core premise is that while most attention is paid to aligning or regulating AI, we must also focus on updating our socio-tech stack and treating human institutions as adaptable systems for the future.
