Keras Creator: Scaling LLMs Didn't Fix Generalization Flaws, New Techniques Did
fchollet · x · 2026-08-08
François Chollet points out that base LLMs still suffer from the exact generalization limitations extensively discussed in pre-2024 academic research. Scaling up models did not resolve these fundamental flaws, and they still fail to beat ARC-AGI. Real breakthroughs rely on novel techniques rather than pure scaling.
