Teknium · x · 2026-08-08
Teknium's Hermes Agent announced support for the portable plugin standard adopted by major AI players. Currently, this standard primarily integrates with MCP and Skills.
Users can leverage native Hermes plugins to add new slash commands and hook into its large plugin API surface, GUI plugins, Dashboard, and skins. Vercel CEO Rauchg noted in a quote that AI coding agents are the most important devtools in software history, and a unified plugin standard gives developers exposure across all agent ecosystems.
