Ex-OpenAI Employee Launches Energy AI Assistant, Claims Better Account Handling Than Codex

Gabriel, a former OpenAI employee who resigned three months ago, has launched Energy, a new AI assistant designed to handle everyday computer tasks.
Early users have compared it to OpenAI's Codex. While noting similarities in core capabilities, they highlighted that Energy offers a better multi-account experience: Energy allows users to connect and easily identify multiple Google/Gmail accounts, whereas Codex limits users to a single account that is hard to identify without initiating a chat.
