YC-backed Maingen builds industrial simulations to train physical-world AI agents
ycombinator · x · 2026-08-08
Y Combinator officially announced the launch of Maingen. While frontier models currently have access to rich training environments for coding, finance, and legal tasks, the physical economy lacks similar infrastructure. Maingen aims to build simulations of real industrial operations, enabling AI agents to learn, run, and manage the physical world.
