Supermemory: A Flexible Approach to Building AI Agent Memory
julianweisser · x · 2026-08-07
Dhravya Shah, founder of Supermemory, shared their design philosophy for AI agent memory architecture: "Memory is a lego set with no instructions."
The platform doesn't force a single way to build memory. Instead, it provides flexible blocks, allowing developers to combine tool calls, hooks, MCP, hybrid retrieval, and a filesystem that agents can grep to construct a memory system tailored to their specific use cases.
