The FunAI Lab at the University of Technology Nuremberg is seeking a PhD student to work on combining Vision-Language-Action (VLA) Models with 3D Geometry and video understanding.
In close collaboration with Helsing AI, the project aims to enhance VLA architectures using explicit 3D geometry (like VGGT-style models) to enable agents to build spatially consistent scene representations and perform physically grounded actions.
