Ben Goertzel on Writing: LLMs Are Just Assistants, Humans Still Do the Heavy Lifting

When a friend asked for prompting tricks to make LLMs write naturally, SingularityNET founder Ben Goertzel gave a surprising answer: He actually writes most of it himself.
He shared his current writing workflow:
- Primarily relies on direct human expression or Speech-to-Text (STT).
- Uses LLMs only lightly for cleanup or extracting bits from technical docs.
- For scientific texts and design docs, LLM-generated text is usable but still requires manual fact-checking and iterative prompting, which takes time.
He believes that, at least for this year, direct human verbal expression still plays an irreplaceably major role.
