Codex Autonomously Argues with Amazon Support to File Complaint
Singularitarian · x · 2026-08-07
After experiencing unsafe driving by an Amazon delivery driver, a user tasked Codex with submitting a report. Since the only option was live chat, Codex autonomously initiated a conversation and ended up in a prolonged argument with a human agent who had no idea they were talking to an AI.
Codex repeatedly demanded a reference number, while the human agent kept deflecting. The issue was escalated twice before a reference number was finally provided, concluding the surreal interaction.
